About Christy Perry
Hi, I'm Christy Perry. I currently represent District 11 in the Idaho House of Representatives. I grew up in Canyon County. I graduated from Middleton High School. I earned my bachelor's degree in political science and my master's degree in public administration, both from Boise State University.
I am a “Canyon County girl” and know first-hand the issues which impact our local communities.
I've been honored to serve in the Idaho legislature and have a 100% agricultural voting record, an A+ rating from the NRA, have voted to support pro-choice education, and have personally worked on many more important issues which do not garner media attention.
Currently, I'm working as co-chair of an interim committee to study how our state can continue to reform foster care to better serve Idaho's children and families. I've also worked hard to reform of our justice system and save taxpayers money.
I have consistently voted to protect your Second Amendment rights and expand them in Idaho. Protecting Idaho's small businesses from unnecessary governmental regulations continues to be one of my highest priorities.
The efforts I spearheaded to change procedures to stagger distribution of Idaho food stamps have been well received.
Our grocery stores, distributors and shoppers are far less burdened on the first day of the month!
I am extremely grateful to the great people of District 11 for choosing me to represent them in the Idaho House of Representatives. It is an honor and a privilege which I take very seriously and work extremely hard at.
I hope you will support me by voting for me on November 8th so I can continue to work hard for you.
